              The Body Shop has over 2400 stores in over 61 countries, and it is the world's second largest cosmetic franchise in  the world. The founder of body shop is Dame Anita Roddick, she is a British businesswomen,  human rights activist and environmental campaigner. The Body Shop is one of the first company to prohibit the usage of ingredients on animals and one of the first to promote fair trade with third world countries. All of its products are made with all natural ingredients and for customer safety and satisfaction. Ever since the first launch in 1976 it experienced rapid growth and the its stock opened at 95p and its price increased more than 500 % and it was nickname " The shares that defy gravity" In March of 2006 L'Oréal Bought The Body Shop for £652.3 million. The Body Shop's social awareness and environmental campaigns promote its business. Consumers of the modern age buy green products, because it has became a fashion statement. Ultimately, Body Shop inspired millions to bring sustainable products to the mass market.
